Principal’s Message

Welcome letter A woman with blonde hair smiles at the camera, wearing a red floral top and navy blazer.

Riverside Elementary School is the home of the Roadrunners.  I am your Principal, Dr. Kelly Pelletier.   I am honored to be leading this wonderful educational community and hope to meet you as we work in partnership throughout the school year.

Our faculty and staff are proud of our school and our student’s accomplishments.  We work tirelessly every day to provide a caring and safe learning environment for our students.  Here at Riverside Elementary, we want your child to be challenged and enriched with our programs and curriculum.  Students will have art, music and physical education weekly and opportunities to join clubs to explore their interests in different areas.  Students can express their creative and artistic talents through singing, performing or creating works of art along with learning how to stay physically fit and work as a team.

There are many ways you can get involved at our school. You may choose to join our PTA or SAC, volunteer in the classroom, or attend field trips; just to name a few. If you have not already, I invite you to sign up as an ADDitions volunteer by visiting the OCPS website.  I will send out announcements every weekend for the upcoming week.  If you are not receiving these updates, please call the office to update your email and phone number in our system.  We want to make sure you are informed of all the important announcements and activities happening at our school.

Working together with our parents and the community, we are ensuring our students’ lives are enriched and they are prepared for middle school and beyond.  I am extremely proud to be the principal of Riverside Elementary School and invite you to contact us if you have any questions about our school.

Kelly Pelletier, Ed.D
