Principal Message

Roadrunner Families,

Welcome to the second marking period! As we begin this next phase of the school year, our focus remains on two important priorities: ensuring every student is safe and supporting every student in achieving academic success. At Riverside Elementary, we believe all children can learn and grow, and we are committed to providing the support necessary for every student, including our students with special needs, to reach their full potential.

We know that strong partnerships between home and school play a critical role in student success. To help keep families informed and empowered, Orange County Public Schools is offering a Virtual Parent Academy on October 20 from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM. This session is a great opportunity to learn strategies, resources, and information that can help you support your child's educational journey.

We also look forward to connecting with families during our Parent Conference Night on Wednesday, October 21. If you have not yet scheduled a conference, please reach out to your child's teacher through ParentSquare to arrange an appointment. These conversations are valuable opportunities to celebrate progress, discuss goals, and strengthen our partnership in support of student achievement.
Thank you for your continued support of Riverside Elementary. Together, we can ensure every Roadrunner is safe, successful, and empowered through the Power of Possibility.

Supporting the Power of Possibility
Our students' success is made possible through the partnership of our families and community. The Riverside Foundation helps bridge the gap between basic funding and an extraordinary educational experience by supporting student enrichment opportunities, classroom resources, teacher support, and school improvements.

Whether you choose to Believe ($25), Belong ($50), or Become ($100), every gift makes a direct impact on our students and school. Most importantly, every donation, no matter the size, helps us create more opportunities for our Riverside Rockets to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you for investing in the power of possibility at Riverside Elementary!

Or text RESFUND to 91999 to give.

Did You Know? You can also support Riverside Elementary by donating clothing, shoes, and other reusable items in the donation container located on our campus. A portion of the proceeds from every donation is returned to our school and helps fund programs and opportunities for our students. As you clean out closets and prepare for the season ahead, consider giving your gently used items a second life while supporting our Riverside Roadrunners.

Every donation makes a difference and helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and thrive!
