A NEWSLETTER FOR THE RIVERSIDE SCHOOL COMMUNITY

Principal Message

Roadrunner Families,

One of our top priorities at Riverside Elementary is increasing student achievement in both reading and mathematics. Every day, our teachers work hard to provide engaging, high-quality instruction that helps students build the skills they need to be successful now and in the future. Reaching our academic goals requires a strong partnership between school and home, and we are grateful for the support our families provide each day.

Parents and guardians play an important role in their child's academic growth. Reading together at home, discussing what your child is learning, practicing math facts, encouraging good study habits, and ensuring consistent attendance all contribute to student success. These small, daily actions help reinforce classroom learning and build confidence in our students.

Thank you to the many families who participated in parent-teacher conferences this week. Your involvement demonstrates a shared commitment to your child's success and reflects the strong partnership that exists between our school and community.

Meaningful conversations between families and teachers help us celebrate progress, identify next steps, and ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Expanding and strengthening our parent-school partnership remains a priority for Riverside Elementary. Together, we can create even more opportunities for student success and continue building a school community where every child feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership, trust, and commitment to our students. When families and educators work together, there is no limit to what our Roadrunners can achieve. The future is bright, and the Power of Possibility is alive at Riverside Elementary!

Attendance Matters

A graphic features the text 'ATTENDANCE MATTERS.' in large yellow and blue letters, with 'ALL DAY, EVERY DAY' in grey below.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student attendance. Our schoolwide goal is to have 30 or fewer student absences each day, and every student's presence makes a difference in their learning.

This week, we saw some positive improvements, with stronger attendance on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. While Mondays and Fridays continue to be our most challenging days, Friday's attendance was particularly difficult. We know that life happens, and we appreciate the efforts families make each day to ensure students are at school, on time, and ready to learn.

Let's continue working together to build strong attendance habits and help every Roadrunner make the most of every instructional day.

Thank you for your support!
